Figure we need a thread here....
So, Lehigh is a 15 seed heading to Greensboro to tackle the Dukies. Lehigh came in as #60/68. Loyola MD was the one 15 seed ahead of them.
If that were the Bison, I wouldn't be thrilled with the draw. However, with McCollum's athleticism and Duke's suspect D, I could see Lehigh giving them a fight.
The game is on Friday, and since it involves the Dukies, I will be shocked if it isn't a prime time game.
How about the respect shown to Iona and the MAAC

Iona is a story and so is Drexel. That league deserved two bids.

Prime-time game with of course, CBS' top crew of Nantz, Kellogg and Tracy Wolfson... You knew when Duke got involved, that would be the crew for the game.

Growing up a Lafayette fan and being a proud Bucknell alum, I have a special place on my Collegiate Sports Hate List for Lehigh.
That being said, if Lehigh could make to the Sweet 16 beating both Duke and Notre Dame, I would wear an ugly brown Mountain Hawks hat and t-shirt for a week.

As a PL fan, I understand supporting a fellow PL school in any NCAA tournament, but as for wearing Lehigh colors for a week, no way!

If you did wear Lehigh colors for a week, no one would think you were supporting a sports team. They would just find you earthy.

Kind of an interesting matchup. Both are strongest in the backcourt. Looking forward to seeing what McCollum can do against Duke's guards.

The British army wore red in the 17th and 18th centuries to hide the blood in battle. Is there a connection?

They were afraid of us going into the final, but it didn't show.

Duke is seriously over-rated and over-ranked this year. If Lehigh plays as well as they did in the PL championship and Duke's guards are not hot from 3, the Engineers can win. I would say this game is equivalent to a 13 seed vs 4 seed game where chances of upset are pretty decent.

Duke is also missing Ryan Kelly (6'11" forward that plays the perimeter well) who would have been an awful match up for Lehigh.

Lehigh had a nice first half but hasn't taken full advantage of the opportunities they've had. Nonetheless, it's only a one possession deficit (30-28) for Lehigh at the half.

CJ is awesome and Lehigh as a team matches Dukes athleticism. Nice week for the PL.

Can't believe I'm about to write this: Go Lehigh Go!
CJ is actually the best player on the court. And Knutson is just playing out of his mind.
Really looking forward to seeing the Bison match-up against this team next year.
Go Bison!

Lehigh also has the dubious distinction of having the ugliest cheerleaders I've ever seen. Sorry, had to go there.

C'mon, Husky. No need for that on this message board (especially from someone with "Husky" in his handle). Please edit if you still can.
Side note - on a hunch, I tried to access the Lehigh U. website and their servers have crashed.
Go Bison!

Congrats Engineers! Dating myself. Just like I felt in the PL final that the better team won, I felt that way after this game as well. After HC beat ND in 2005 it was a shot over the bow that the big win was coming. It turned out the same thing happened this week. Sunday will be fun if Lehigh doesn't play at 3pm.
