You're such a good fan. I'm ashamed that I have absolutely no desire to drive to Binghamton to see that game. I feel dead inside.

Thanks for the link.
It looks like Palestra needs a little cheering up. All we need to do is look around. Like right up 33rd St, where Drexel just lost to College of Pharmacy. Instead of continuing to play Penn at the Palestra, Drexel invited Pharmacy to the DAK - and lost.
Even better, we can look to NJ for some yuks. At first, it was too easy to giggle about Incarnate Word taking Jadwin by storm. It was too easy, and too hard because we lost at home to Delaware State. But since then, Del St beat Wake Forest and the Orange and Black puked up 64 (!!!) 2nd half points to lose to Fairleigh Dickinson. That is Sixers-worthy. In the space of a few weeks, our rival lost to Incontinent Words and Fairly Ridiculous.
I don't know about Palestra, but I'm feeling better already. What time does that bus leave for Binghamton?

Binghamton has lost to Navy and Cornell. Its one win was against a Division III school.
Just this week, they released All-American East player Jordan Reed.
Hopefully, the Quakers can put together two solid halves for another win!

After Hicks went out, it took some time to get untracked.

Did they really just foul someone after Binghamton missed a free throw?

And then gave the ball up again- if they could cut down on the turnovers/fouls (ahh, wishful thinking)
This lead is with 50% 3pt shooting-

Bad foul shooting. Mucho turnovers. Some really bone-headed play. But a 6 point lead with Hicks playing all of two minutes. If he plays three in the second half, Penn wins. (That's sarcasm!) At the rate he's fouling, he'll only get three minutes; he'd better make them count.

Binghampton Game 12-06-14 04:01 PM - Post#177268
In response to 91Quake
At the half,
pros:
40 pts
DNH 10 points (5-6)
3 pointers (6-13) with S. Jones 3-5
52% FG
11 assists
25-16 rebounding advantage
cons:
10 fouls
10 turnovers
Hicks - 2 fouls in 2 minutes
Greg Louis - 2 fouls, 2 turnovers, 2 assist
Louis, DNH, Hanessian - 0 FT
2-6 FT
The Binghmaton coach noted his concern about DNH and the overall size advantage Penn has. He knows Penn has the lowest 3 point % in the Ivies, so he seems to want them to try to beat Binghamton from way outside.
Hopefully, Hicks can stay on the court this half and the team can avoid a third straight second half decline.

Despite the lead, as you point out, the first half was far from stellar.

How many dumb fouls will Tony make? I guess he's limited to 5 at most. He's already 60% of the way there.

Ugh... Really? For one I like his potential and for two with Greg's tendency to foul and no Auger for a while this makes us REALLY thin upfront.
