Interview with Brett MacConnell.

Lots of other recent interviews with coaches and players. I find him to be a very good interviewer.

I especially enjoyed his interview with Bill Carmody and Carmody's views of the tourney.

I agree that Zach Gelb is a good interviewer although he had a tough time getting much meaningful information from Brett MacConnel -- coach talk. Two interesting subjects was how highly the coaches think about Amir Bell and how the Tigers recent success helps the recruiting efforts.

The Carmody interview was excellent. Carmody is obviously not a fan of the regular season winner not getting the automatic bid. Gelb tried to get Carmody to agree that the IL Tournament keeps the interest level of second division teams. His response was classic Carmody as he called that attitude wrong and a "teachable moment".

Like JT III, I hope that Carmody was able to save enough from his NW paychecks to enjoy the rest of his career the way he likes. He would make a great TV color analyst, unlike some of the more famous, but idiotic, ex players/ coaches who dominate the networks.
