You beat me to it. I was going to ask if the Karl Racine who I heard about this afternoon was the same Karl Racine who I used to watch play basketball.

He was a senior (I think captain) in my freshman year and the last link to someone who had played with members of the Final Four team.

Karl Racine, who was always a great guy, has now elevated himself to the Pantheon of all time Quaker greats. I remember bumping into him playing pick up ball at Bauer Drive Rec Center in Maryland sometime in the late 80's. We discussed the famous Jack-in-the-Box play when Temple converted a length of the court in-bounds pass to Terence Stansbury who hit a turnaround jumper from the foul line to force overtime. Although Karl missed the free throw that set up that play, he took responsibility and expressed regret over that game.
Karl, all is forgiven as you take on a much more dangerous and loathsome opponent than John Chaney and the Owls!

I remember Karl Racine very well, as a solid, steady and clutch performer, who saved his best games for Princeton. One game in particular (at Jadwin) stands out. Petey Carril was stomping around on the sidelines, screaming at the ref about a foul call made against the Tigers with only seconds remaining in the game. He was obvious he was trying to rattle Racine, but Karl stepped right up to the line and calmly sank both free throws, sealing the win for the Quakers. Nothing but net. Penn wins. Princeton loses. Life is good.
Hopefully, he'll now have a hand in defeating another, bigger nemesis.

Not the Deep State. The vandals who are trying to dismantle the Deep State.

Nah. You're looking at it from the wrong angle. Bannon et al are the vandals. The Deep State is what they want to destroy.
