Other sports are working so it must be a feed issue. And we're up!

Try a different browser. I have the video feed with Microsoft Edge. Google Chrome was not working.

Ahhh, the wonders of technology. Chrome worked for me whereas Firefox did not.
And I could have lived without seeing the last five minutes or so.

The feed was the issue at first, but it started working in time. After a nice start and some really nice offense, they went cold as could be, took some awful shots (hi Jackson) and then decided to give an 85% free throw shooter 4 free points in the last minute on off the ball fouls. The free throw and especially the 3 point shooting was not good to say the least. Down 3 at the half after being up 12 early.
Both of Max's fouls were soft and unnecessary so not much to report there. It's nice having Antonio back but after a nice start, we didn't see much.

Yeah... not a great start and will have to play A LOT better if they want to win this game.
I'm all for a slightly extended rotation, but when we have an early lead not sure we need play everyone including the water boy?
Also see that Donahue's shot selection hasn't improved. Though several guys took similarly bad shots just up the floor to jack a 3 not in flow.
Let's hope team can settle in, play good defense, and get flow back to offense.

The foul shooting has not improved and may even have gotten worse.

Not going to win many games going 4-25 from 3 with airballs and 27 footers. I guess the good news is that positive regression is in our future since Steve's teams get better each year from 3?

Our 3 pt shot selection and shooting is horrible.
The foul shooting is even worse.
How about we get Brodeur involved? We instead stand out at the 3 pt. line and jack up ill advised threes.
Not seeing much I would call improvement.

I don't want to sound like a jerk but I keep waiting to see this Max improvement. I didn't see it at the scrimmage. Not seeing it now as he picks up another awful foul, leaving his feet for no reason, after having a highlight block against him. I know Simmons isn't ready, but I'd like to get him some time.

Betley takes it in his hands with finish after finish around the rim, they get an and one opp to cut it to 2 and Jackson missed the ft. Sigh.

Wood hits from NBA range to tie it, then they get beat down for 2, and now Max picks up his 4th fouling their best player 25 feet from the basket. Not sure what else to say...Nelson is 10-10 from the line with 24 total. We're 5-12 from the line...

Considering Nelson will go at least 6-7 from the line to ice this one, it's getting close to out of reach. Penn just had an at least 4-chance possession and came away with nothing. Jackson just can't hit a shot...
Football though...

Yeah definitely going to be an L. This was a toss up away, but the way we are going to lose makes this look BAD.

Bad loss. No two ways about it. I missed about 3 minutes in the first half and haven't seen Antonio since. Did he get hurt?

arrrrrghhh. outcoached (big time - Sydney schooled Donahue), outplayed and outsmarted. In all of the preseason hype, I had forgotten how we can be so darn painful to watch at times. Yes, it's fun when the threes are falling but there never seems to be a plan B and I am not sure Steve is capable of it.
Jackson was dreadful today yet gets an amazing amount of run - kept shooting, even NBA+ range three pointers, when he couldn't hit a thing. I guess he has carte blanche on range and a green light??? He made a high school error that, in my view was a game changer and turned the momentum around in the first half - up 13 (!) he lost his guy on a pick who ended up scoring, he grabbed the ball, hurried the inbound pass and threw it right to fairfield for a layup and he fouled him for a three point play (more like a 5 point play). As an aside - this seems to be our philosophy after made baskets and I always felt it was going to burn us - put one foot down as quickly as you can and throw the ball in as quickly as you possibly can.
We had fouls far away from the basket (Max fouling a guy 25 feet from the basket for three foul shots), guys ice cold launching threes as soon as they touch the ball(caleb and sam), Dwyer comes in for the first time with a few minutes left (really?) and can't make the front end, missed foul shots, guards travelling when trapped in the corners. Just awful and poorly prepared.
I hope this turns around by Monday or it going to be yet another long disappointing season.

You’re right about the Donahue trifecta of mistakes in the first half changing the momentum.
Just a disaster of a game where they displayed all the lowlights of the lowest points of last season.
Weird lineups too - lots of four guards & a big with four small guards. That lineup just got overpowered on defense.
Even when they made the run to get within 2 in the second half by driving the ball more instead of shooting 3s, they couldn’t get stops at the other end to maintain the momentum.
