Morgan had a career night (which is certainly saying something) with 38 points and 13 rebounds. During the game, he became Cornell's second all-time leading scorer - going ahead of John Bajusz ('83-'87). He now has 1,684 points.
Jimmy Boeheim came off the bench to put up a career high 20 points, as well as 7 rebounds.
They were down 71-70 with 5:58 to go, then went on a 13-0 run to put the game away.

Solid win on the road. Boeheim really does look improved, as does Kuhn.
Matt is going to be a lot of fun to watch this season.

Morgan needs 28 ppg the rest of the way to catch Bill Bradley. Not going to happen, but ... it's at least sort of imaginable?
Anyway he's a lock to end up #2 in Ivy history barring injury.

Matt Morgan has been a very good player over his entire career. He has not received the recognition in post season IL awards in my opinion. It would be an amazing feat if he becomes the all time IL scoring leader although highly unlikely as you suggest.
In fairness, Bradley accomplished the record in three years,87 game of play without 3 point shots even though he made many shots beyond the arc. Different time - different era -- but it is very unlikely that any IL player will ever average 30.2 pts per game as well as 11.1 rebounds at 6'4".
I would not be surprised if Bradley would give Morgan a high five if he does set the record based on the type of person that he is. Good luck to Matt other than playing against the Tigers.
