Close loss that for whatever reason felt better than Friday night did, likely because of how Brown came back in the 2nd half. Once again had a small lead late and got one stop and one finish too few. They just don’t know how to win these close games yet.
Brown had no flow until about midway through the 2nd half. Once they got stops and got out and pushed the pace they had success offensively. They were very stagnant much of the game but defended pretty well, except for giving up too many points on drives.
They played much of the 2nd half without Dez after he cramped up. He and Anderson combined for 5-22 and had little flow.
Despite all that, Brown still had an open three to tie the game that didn’t fall.
Choh played a good game offensively, and Howard has been pretty big these two games. Okolie got it going late. Anderson had a HUGE steal and finish late that was a big time play. DeWolf played very solidly.
Two tough losses on the road that came down to the final shot, against two teams hat would be solid but bottom half in the Ivy. Brown played tough but didn’t hit enough shots in either game, and I think is still looking for leadership on the court.
