So, what’s the story? He has a great game vs SB, apparently not injured at games end, and turns up in a boot for Fairfield. What happened? Sprain? Another one of these “stress fractures” that seems to be in vogue of late? How’d it happen? When is he expected back? Finally, assuming it is the same as Avi’s injury last year, and Meek’s this year, why does this keep on happening?

He injured his calf muscle in practice. Should be able to return to practice this Friday and play the next game after that.

The other injuries you mentioned are very different. Meeks has a high ankle sprain, and Toomer had a stress fracture. Although injuries are frustrating, Bucknelll has likely had less injuries over the past decade then most teams. For example, the group of players on the Muscala teams never had a serious injury. And the seniors who graduated last Year also never had a serious injury.

Meeks has a broken bone (stress fracture) in his foot, not a high ankle sprain. He's out another 5 weeks

Jones will be back in action tomorrow night, he was back to practice Sunday. Had something going on with his knee, bone fragments floating around or something is how it was described to me. Something that was treated with injections in his knee to clear it up

Been there. Probably needs to have his knee scoped, but doesn't want to do it now. The injections are likely to just treat the inflammation.

Sestina could be back as soon as Vermont on Sunday or as late as after the exam break (Ohio State), per an email from Coach Davis to Backcourt Club members.

Meeks out at least another four weeks.

Vermont is playing well. We could really use him.

I don't think we have a chance in that game without him
