Unlike Duke, a 4 1/2 pt line is very tempting. The results of the Duke game may have pushed down the line although I did see one of the other Vegas oddsmakers have the spread at 7 1/2.

Unlike Duke where Llewellyn had to keep control of the bqall to avoid turnovers, I would suspect that there will be better ball movement tonight. I would not be surprised if the Tigers will have put the Duke game in the rear view mirror. Hopefully, they learned something about how great players at Duke play so hard.

Based on the size of Lafayette, Morales will get his minutes although with Jaelin on the floor, Morales impact is somewhat minimized on offense. Coach may continue to give Frieberg and possibly Schweigger minutes to get a more balanced team although Morales can still be a force on defense with steals.

You never know but would not be surprised if Tigers play hard and well tonight.

When it jumped to 7 1/2 I think action from punters hoping to catch a middle showed. It's now settled back down to 5-5 1/2 and that seems about right.

A fast start, force a few turnovers, and they should be fine.

Princeton up 41-35 at the half, but the lead seems like it should be bigger. Balanced scoring, with 8 players scoring in the first half. Hopefully the Tigers will pull away early in the second half.

Jaelin makes a strong drive to hoop and scores to increase lead to 16 and he goes down with what looks like a bad injury or re-injury --- Heartbreaking for him and the Tigers.

Damn it, damn it, damn it. At first it looked serious. Then he seemed okay. Then he needed to be helped to the locker room. Ugh.

It would be such a shame for Jaelin (and the team) to have him go down for an extended period again. He's a thrill to watch and we have no shot in the conference without him.

He's back! Looks like it was just a painful ankle sprain. In the mean time, the huge lead evaporated in the few minutes w/o Jaelin.

Ugly win after losing that 16pt lead when Llewellyn had to sit out a while. But considering Jaelin and Devin are both okay after scary falls, I'm a happy camper.

I didn’t see much of tonight’s game but what I saw was Princeton players taking (and missing) bad shots in traffic and less athletic Lafayette players passing the ball around then taking (and missing) better shots.

This could be a very nice Princeton team if they would cut and pass more and dribble and shoot in traffic less. As it is, I find this team a little hard to watch.

I agree on the injury front but that was an extremely disappointing performance against a not very good team. Tigers came close to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The Tigers are a poor defensive team plus they do not play very smart at this point and time.

Much is a walking disaster with an incredibly stupid technical foul allowing Petrie to hit 4 free three shots when the game was almost a blow out. He is always a little late in making the switch to challenge 3 pt shooters. A highly recruited and ranked HS player who is simply not a very good player. Much, Schweigger and Gladson are "old school" Tiger players that are just not that talented.

Something is wrong with this team and to correct it will require a Pete Miller type if one exists to step up and challenge the defensive effort of this team.

Unlike the men, women are in high gear winning 6 in a row. Hartford had played competitively against two 25 teams including an OT game against Michigan State but Tigers win on the road 75-38. Hartford had beaten Harvard by 3 points earlier in the season.

Alarie scores 24 pts, 11 rbs, and 5 blocks in 22 minutes. Announcers said that she is one of 3 players, maybe the best, that Hartford has played including Louisville and Miller. St. Francis coach has her as one of the top 25 players in the country.

The team is very good and the coach is great -- they will even be better next year, very possibly a top 25 team. If you can watch them on replay.

Agreed. Watching that lead dissipate was excruciating. The injury to Llewellyn deflated the team, and the technical on Much bolstered Lafayette. But where was Aririguzoh until the bitter end?

I hope Gladson can contribute when league play starts.
