Penn -5 @ Columbia: Love to say Penn executes better with backs to the wall, but we all know how they tend to play in NYC.
Brown +6 @ Harvard: I think Martin out-coaches Amaker, keeps this close and covers.
Yale -5 @ Dartmouth: I have not seen Dartmouth, but Yale is not great on the road. DC covers.
PU -2 @ Cornell: Only 2? I know Cannady is out and Penn made Cornell look better than they are, but I'm happy to lay the 2 and put some on the over at 133 since this could end up being another foul-fest.
BTW: did anyone notice that there were only 9 assists TOTAL in the PU-Columbia game? How is that possible?

I would like to thank you regarding the predictions, especially the Princeton/Cornell game. Whenever I see a prediciton from one of the opposing fans just south of Nassau Hall, I immediately placed a friendly wager on both the Tigers and total points. I must admit that OT was a concern as to total points. If you had guaranteed the result like some other fans, the temptation would have been to increase the bet.
Seriously, who knows the outcome of these games, especially this year but please keep predicting.

I should know better than to publically handicap teams I have not seen. Harvard & Yale made me look pretty silly. I can take solace knowing this night could not have gone much better for Penn.
Penn played well enough to win going away, but Columbia could not miss their circus shots in the 2nd half. Who knew?
PU was the only game I actually bet, I really felt confident about that one but when you win one of those in OT, there is nothing to crow about.

Our dear data guru was kind enough to post the opening lines in another thread:
Princeton (+7) at Yale
Penn (-1.5) at Brown
Columbia (+10.5) at Harvard
Cornell (+3.5) at Dartmouth
Penn is now anywhere from -1 to +1 (139)
Columbia is now +11.5 (130)
PU still at +7 (138)
Cornell still at +3.5 (138.5)
After last week, I’m afraid to put anything out there. The movement on the Penn line indicates that these teams are pretty evenly matched and nobody knows which Penn team will show up. All I know is that Penn tends to play better when they have to and if I can get +1, I’d take it. Under that scenario, I would also go with the over as I think Penn needs to put up 70 to win.
I think Columbia was a mirage last Saturday. Won’t touch that although 130 feels light to me.
I think PU should be better than +7, but I still think Yale is very tough to beat at home. If you like PU, take the under.
I still have not figured out Dartmouth at all, but my dart board likes the points and the over.

Kindly keep on picking as I have no idea as to win or lose an IL game so I just take the opposite of your picks until the tide turns.

Sorry - I guess you had a bad night last night since I went 4-0 on the over unders and 2-0 ATS (see above). I cannot lie, I got lucky with Dartmouth.
I'll try and help you a bit more now:
PU -1 @Brown. (131) I'm taking the 1. I do not think PU can defend the Bears enough. I want the over at that number but PU's offense is suspect now and Brown can defend relentlessly when they need to.
Penn +6 @Yale. (148) Penn needs to shoot like they did last night to win this - not in this gym - and Yale will likely get too many 2nd chance points. Pass, but take the under here and hope there is no OT.
Cornell +10 @Harvard. (133) I don't think Harvard has an answer for Morgan. Take the points and the over even though Harvard likely wins.
Columbia +4 @DC. (139) Still relying on my Dartboard to handicap Dartmouth. I'm gaining some respect for the Lions, but one look at the box score last night (and the video) tells me that they are going to run out of magic on this Saturday on the road. I like the Green ATS and pass on the O/U.

I guess I failed you again going 3-0 ATS and 1-1 O/U.
