Yale cannot handle the Tigers' physicality and athleticism. Copeland had a nice cut to the hoop but the size of the interior defenders thwarted what would have been an easy basket in Ivy play.

And Reynolds went up soft and got blocked.

Can’t miss open threes.

This might be the softest Yale team of Jones’s entire tenure. It’s on a scale, but they just aren’t as physical as in the past.

And on cue, Reynolds goes soft again.

They are getting intimidated down low on both ends. LSU is also too quick for Yale.

Swain has kept them in it with some bombs. Now fouled in the act of shooting from distance.

Copeland can’t handle Waters defensively.

Reynolds and Bruner 0-5 on threes. Hard to stay in this if those two don’t get something out of those open looks.

Yale went zone, but the interior was easily pierced.

A rare offensive rebound inside by Bruner leads to a nice two points.

LSU can basically throw over the top of Yale inside whenever it wants.

Bailout long distance 3 by Waters after good D by Yale. LSU up double digits and looking to blow it wide open.

Guys who would have been challenged HARD in the past by Yale teams are just waltzing through the lane.

Oni completely shut down.

This is an immensely talented LSU team. If they are hitting on all cylinders a Final Four appearance is not out of the question.

Copeland hits another floater to keep the deficit at 14. For a while a blowout is staved.

Oni returns the favor with a block of a 3 as the shot clock was expiring
