Cannot remember the last time Dartmouth won a road game by 30+. Maine is, ummmmm, not good. Even still, this was impressive.
Four greenies in double figures, led by Foye's 18. But to me the news of the night is 13 points from Wes Slachert. If he can make similar contributions going forward, that will make us a much tougher team.

I can't find a larger margin of victory against a D1 opponent in the last 30 years, much less as a visitor.
The 1996 team beat Holy Cross by 28 in their place. And there were a couple of 20+ road wins in the Barton era.

I stand corrected by Dartmouth Sports Info
Dartmouth beat Columbia by 35 at Levien in 1997.

We're looking good when we have that many guys in double figures. With this year's Defense at last year's offense we are legit contenders for the top 4.

Maine is, ummmmm, not good.
I agree with this comment in isolation. That said, Maine isn't awful either. They've played some good teams reasonably competitively.
Great effort by Dartmouth. If we play like that, we will get a lot of wins going forward.

Maine is not a good team. Well coached and has size, but no depth and limited athleticism. I attended game vs Harvard. Crimson were uninspired and asleep for a half, then outscored Maine 37-15 in the second half. Maine has scored under 50 points 5 times now.
Only DI wins vs Central CT St (KP #350) and Merrimack (KP #278).

Maine's also without their best guard Sergio El-Darwich, who got hurt in their game against Virginia. Still, beating any D1 team by 30+ is impressive, and certainly a boost to the efficiency numbers (Dartmouth's up to 173 from 211 on KP and up to 175 from 220 on Torvik after blowing up the initial line of Dartmouth -1)

Sergio-Darwich and Fleming were clearly Maine’s best players. Fleming is from Maine which I assume to be unusual.

Maine has probably the most international/unique roster in D1 actually. Fleming and one other player are from Maine, one from Massachusetts, Darwich is from Lebanon, then 2 players from Sweden, 2 Canadians, 2 Serbs, and 1 each from Turkey, Ukraine, Latvia, England, and Denmark.
Guess when you don't have any real recruiting base you have to look literally everywhere
