A rather forgettable first 16 minutes. Meeks looks like he is still not well...has zero energy and strength...from appearances and production, he probably shouldn’t be playing.

They also commented about Meeks that he has been sick and lost 7-10 lbs because of it, and is just starting to feel better.

I thought Spears and Newman played great in the second half. Their defense and rebounding were key to getting us back in the game. I would have liked to see more of them the last 8 minutes.

Spear's energy was fantastic. If he puts in the time over the summer at takes 1k reps a day his mid range game will vastly improve, Another 10-20 lbs of muscle and he jumps to another level.
Very happy to see Jimmy hit 3 threes in the 2nd half and get his feet back under him in the second half. The foul line pull up down the stretch he hits 60% of the time...wasn't to be. Tough to lose confidence under ND as he lets you play but he seemed out of sorts since playing sick at AU.
Was proud of the way they grinded in the second half but its tough to win shooting 35 & 25. Meeks has shown a lot of heart the last two games because he looks white as a ghost out there. 4 days off can only benefit him.
Kids need to have fun and understand they are no longer a team that out-shoots and outscores people. Then they can construct a new identity. One that gives up 25 points in the 1st half as well as the second.
