Desmond Cambridge led Nevada with 24 points in a win over New Mexico. He is leading the team in scoring, and he may be leaving the mountain west as well.

Declaring for the NBA draft after one season at Nevada, I take it?

I’ve been watching some of the Nevada games and he’s looked pretty much like the guy we knew. He seems a bit more in control and is probably taking better shots overall than he was known for at Brown, and it’s paid off as he’s now Nevada’s top scoring threat. He won MW POW a few weeks back. Nice to see him having success.

Grant Sherfield and Desmond Cambridge might be the most underrated backcourt in America. Nevada tops Boise State in Las Vegas. Broncos are going to sweat it out for the next 70 hours.

I saw a few of Nevada's games this winter. Cambridge is still streaky as ever, and his shot selection doesn't seem to have improved that much.

He's been really good of late. He was 3rd team All-Mountain West. Scored 31 in the recent win over Boise State (somehow Nevada has beaten that team 3x but managed to lose to Air Force).
Their point guard Sherfield is one of the best mid-major point guards I have seen - he is really, really good. If he were a better athlete he'd have a shot to play in the NBA. But Dez has played nicely and even at against a generally higher level of competition, he can take over games. He's gotten better from three, and his quick release has gotten a more consistent, but he's also not being keyed on as much as he was at Brown. Like at Brown, if he's hitting his threes, he fills it up, and he doesn't need much room to get his threes off.
