Great victory for the Bears tonight 72-60. Up by 24 in first half
and lead by 20 at halftime. Shooting was unconscious. Excellent all-around play by the entire team. Nana (concussion) and Friday did not play. Everyone stepped up. Shot 55% from field and 40% from 3. Poor FT shooting, but hung in vs Bryant second half runs. The Bryant gym was packed. But Brown had the crowd in stunned disbelief in first half. It was loud in second half when Bryant occasionally cut the lead. But all runs were answered by a determined Bear group. Lily was quiet in first half but made some huge shots down the stretch, as a team leader does. Evened the record at 4-4. Martin did a good job tonight, and he is really bringing this team along and playing a lot of players. One of the better total efforts I have seen in years.

Fantastic win for Brown. I confess that I will never be sorry to see Bryant lose, due to their predilection for brawling (see LIU, Wagner, Syracuse).

Great to see things coming together for the Bears. Hopefully they don't come together too much

One of the best wins in the last few years. Lilly stepped up big when only Lilly could. Ndur was a presence down low. Great to see Cooley get off.

Cooley and Anya were big at both ends. A real team effort on D won this one. Felix Klomen, who has played some effective minutes, was not on the bench either.

Love that Bryant had a full house for this one. Loved watching their fans file out after the Cooley 3-pointer even more.

What. a. win. The Bears held Bryant to their lowest point total of the season. They made the Bulldogs play their slowest game of the season. There were 62 possessions in yesterday's game, per Kenpom; the average number of possessions in their 5 previous D-I games was 77. Anya's block of what would have been a momentum-swinging Bryant dunk with about 7 minutes left was the moment I knew we were going to pull it out. Need to follow up with a convincing win against a flailing Hartford program tomorrow.

Nice post game hype video of the win. Haven’t seen a spot like this from Brown before.
