Interesting she was a NEPSAC kid having prepped at Worcester Academy - joins Ariik, Minicozzi, and McDonald, also NEPSAC products.

It appears that her younger sister is holding an offer from Dartmouth as well, and she's still a freshman in high school.

And the offer was given last summer.

So she got a Dartmouth offer before her freshman year? Wow.

Summer of her 8th/9th grade.

I've been told that it was rare for sophomores to get offers. But hey, Cimino has to turn things around somehow... I guess she's playing the long game!

I know a kid who committed to a mid-major program before her freshman year of high school and actually ended up going to the school (which is unusual). Turns out she didn't develop in her four years of high school as the college coach had hoped, so while she was on the roster all four years at the college she never played and ended up having a very poor college experience.

I do not find that surprising at all. My freshman year in high school, I had two football teammates who were far more advanced than everyone else. We all thought that they'd end up playing big-time college football.

Turns out, they just hit puberty early. By the time the rest of us caught up, they were decent players, but nothing special.

Neither played in college.
