Well I'll post even if nobody from Yale cares enough, but they are now in the finals at Murray State after a VERY impressive road win vs. high-scoring VMI. Held them to a season-low 62. I consider this to be news. Go Elis.

Any word on Sears' status? Hopefully his wrist injury won't prevent him from playing in the final.

Two years ago Sears was one of our major prospects. Many assumed he would select Princeton. Instead, we had one of our weakest classes in years. Ah, what might have been!

Given the focused profiles of Ivy athletes, I'd expect that just about every star in the league was a recruiting miss for somebody else. OK, maybe not for some of Harvard's guys, but traditionally at least.

Congrats on a nice season for Yale. Was tough to win last night without Sears. While I love to pile on Jones for his (lack of) coaching, and failure to come up big at big times, this was a very very nice team and they should be a force next year.
