I thought it was referring to The Sweater's lint castoffs.

Troy's has been closed for over 20 years.
Troy's was a friend of mine.
Little Pete's was no Troy's.

Princeton had The Balt, although I do not have any fond memories of the food. On its closing, undergraduates of the day (early 1960s) held a mock funeral and procession down Nassau Street.

you would walk past the kitchen to go to the bathroom. i never got the meatballs again after one such walk. food was decent diner food, atmosphere was fun, but i think that's any tiny place you jam in drunk people and give them food. disco fries were pretty good, cheesesteaks weren't bad for a diner, pancakes were sizable and good and they had good syrup
