The vibe here in Lewisburg is that tickets may be more of a commodity than in previous years. There already is a slight scramble for them and the season hasn't even started yet. I'm just wondering if the students are geared up for supporting the team and if they are going to fill both ends of Sojka. They are just finishing a short break but I believe this year it may be more trendy to go to the game for reasons I can't put my finger on. I could be wrong but there is excitement earlier than other years.

The students who were at the championship game, and there were a lot, have got to be excited to see what this year's team can do. Hopefully, the excitement carries over and they show up for some regular season games this year.

I will not have faith in the fickle students until I see them out en masse for 3 or more games in a row.
Personally, having watched a ton of games at Davis Gym and Sojka Pavilion, I think that if they do not go, they will regret it at some point in the future. This team has the potential to be one of the all time great Bucknell teams. A team that they can brag about having seen when they are old and gray like some of us.
This is what I am looking for EVERY game:

Agreed on the potential for 2017-18 team, sky's the limit and schedule, that said, deep and talented. I have been watching teams and players since mid 1950's, that is some of the best of Bucknell Basketball history. This is the best group of shooters from top to bottom that I have ever seen, hard to defend a team, when every player is a threat to score. If they stay healthy and play tough defense, this team can be the real deal, fun to watch. Coach Davis and staff won't settle for a lackluster effort. Go Bison!

Hopefully watching a great basketball team ranks somewhere close to partying.
