With Columbia and Cornell coming to town this is a chance to finish the season on an up note and set a tone for next season. Both previous meetings with the New York teams were nailbiters with the Big Red escaping with a one-point win in Ithaca and the Lions grabbing a three-point victory.
While the Big Green is out of the playoff race the New York teams are in a dogfight for the final playoff spot. It should make for an exciting weekend.
It's also a chance to honor the memory of Ed Leede, the early Dartmouth great who went on to play for the Celtics and whose contributions to the school were recognized with the naming of Leede Arena. He recently passed away at age 90.
