No line, no Cannady, no problem.

True. Only question will be rotations. How much time does John’s get as a reserve in lieu of Cannady. Will Mitch go with big line up with Richmond, Much, DesRosiers in backcourt with Stephens and Llewellyn or more likely Llewellyn and Morales for next weekends’ games.

If Cannady is not in the lineup, I think that opens up opportunities for some more freshmen to move into the rotation. Max Johns for defense, Drew Friberg for 3-point shooting, and Ethan Wright (back from a wrist injury) as an all-purpose guard. I think all three will get an opportunity today against Wesley.

Is anyone watching this game? If so any comments regarding Devin?

Box Score shows Cannady did not play. No idea if he was there.

He was on bench, not dressed. Per commentators, "suspended for violating team rules". That's all that was said, I think. I had the game on mute a times.

On last week's radio show, Derek Jones brought the suspension up and asked Coach Henderson about Cannady. The coach said he was suspended for violating team rules and could not say anything since there was an ongoing investigation .

In today's broadcast (at the 17:17 of the 1st half, for those interested in listening), Jones noted Cannady's absence and stated that he did not know how long he would be out. He then mentioned that Cannady was suspended for a violation of team rules and was sitting on the team bench. The team hoped to be able to get him back before the end of the season.

Cannady is still listed on the team's roster and included in the game notes.

Jones started his Cannady remarks by stating his absence would shine a brighter light on Llewellyn. JA had 6 points (1-2 from 2, 1-4 from 3, 1-1 FT), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 turnovers in 21 minutes.

The starting lineup was JA, Stephens, Wright, Desrosiers and RA.

Stephens had 14, while RA, Johns and Schweiger each had 11. Morales had 0 in 7 minutes.

Team shot 47% overall, 57% (24-42) from 2, 33% (11-33) from 3 and 59% (10-17) in FT.

Aririguzoh played little, did little. Limping as he left the court end of game. Gladson again not dressed.

Thanks. Good sign for Tiger fans that he was on the bench - I think. If he is not gone for the season which is entirely possible, 3 to 5 game suspension is possible. We will see. He cannot be replaced but let’s hope IL teams underestimate the Tigers without him.

I sat behind the Tiger bench and Devin was indeed there sitting next to Will Gladson and Colby Kyle (I think) in the last three seats. He seemed very serious. It must be very strange for him to be a (non-injured) observer after being The Man for this Princeton team.

Long-range shooting was way off in 1H but improved in 2H. Jaelin Llewelyn pulled down several boards and did a nice job of injecting energy into the offense, seeing the court and distributing the ball. Ryan Schwieger has a lot of talent and can get to the rim, he looked like he could play a bigger role on this team. Morales committed a lot of fouls and did not make much of a contribution. Myles could have scored 40 points if he wanted to, he was a man among boys. Ethan Wright started for Devin and was active on defense and made a few nice plays.

But overall, not much to learn from this game.

Yes, Kyle has had a few different injuries during the year, and has not been able to play in any of the games or scrimmages.

Aririguzoh had 11 points and 5 rebounds in just 14 minutes. He probably could have scored 30 against this much smaller Wesley team, but I think the Tigers really wanted to see what the others could do.

Wright only scored 6 points, but had 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks. It looks like he'll be the second starting guard while Cannady is out. Max Johns had 11 point in just 10 minutes, Elijah Barnes had 8 points and Drew Friberg had 7. All four of these players bring different talents to the team, and depending on the matchup, could find themselves playing important minutes this year.

I guess I didn't express myself well--when I say he didn't do much, I meant he didn't show any of his nifty new moves. So when I saw him limping a bit leaving the court, I became a bit worried that he might be a bit injured.

After the game, Coach was asked a question if he expects Cannady back this season and the reponse was "We're hopeful". "We're still reviewing everything and working closing with all the partieis involved" "I wish I could comment further". One could read the comments several different ways.

It was omterestomg to hear Noah Savage discuss how challending the regular season will be for all teams but he certainly implied that Yale is the team to beat based on their ability to share the ball and having such a blanced team. It will be very interesting to see how Yale will perform at Harvard and Dartmouth this upcoming weekend. Someone may need to slow them down before they get too much momentum. I probably am wrong but it does not seem any IL team has Yale's offensive capabilities but Yale's defense is still to be determined plus they turnover the ball. Time will tell.

How well does >-ale shoot free throws? I ask because we can throw Barnes and Johns at them defensively; that's a lot of fouls to soak up but might be worth it.

Yale is at 69% on the foul line -- six points better than the Quakers. Ok not great -- Copeland is at 84% -- best foul shooter but no one is horrible other than Atkinson.

Yale is 4 1/2 pts lower than the Tigers but the Tiger's number is inflated by Cannady as are many other numbers.

Thanks.

If Aririguzoh is more mobile than I fear, can he be a force down low?
