41-37 at the half. Princeton ONCE AGAIN hosed by the officials, but leading.

I'm here...and for some reason the video feed is working this week. 41-37 at the half.

Great smothering pressure by Cornell. Terrible early ball-handling by Davis and Mavraides, but fortunately those two seem to have found their 3 stroke again. Big sigh of relief.

Horrible one-sided officiating got Cornell back into it (and I don't think I've complained about refs all season...maybe once before?). The Big Red were allowed to hand-check endlessly...but Princeton had almost every block and steal taken away as phantom fouls/TOs/FTs.

Good halftime result considering the circumstances. On the bright side, the refs felt bad at the end of the half and gave us some makeup calls.

I'm here. The internet feed is much better tonight, probably because it's FIOS.

Actually, I don't think it's the FiOS. I had trouble accessing ANY video on the site until a couple days ago. And now it all works okay again.

It's either my ISP, reduced traffic, or something they tweaked on their server.

Way too many turnovers in the first half, many of which happened during Cornell's press, but were not necessarily forced or caused by Cornell.

Of course, Cornell has literally thrown the ball out of bounds a couple of times too.

Regardless, it's a welcome improvement. I never did hear back from the Athletic Department in response to my email following the Penn game.

Yeah, the luck has balanced out a bit (other than the officating). Cornell missed a lot of open 3s...but hit some tough inside shots/FTs. They've forced a bunch of TOs...but thrown it clear outta bounds a couple times.

Da Bearsss leading Harvard by 11 -- lol.

I fully expect Harvard to pull it out, but who knows? Maybe Agel's crew will pull their annual late-season back-to-back shockers for the 3rd year straight.

Are you sure they got your email? I was *told* that my email was the only one they received.

That alley-oop from Mav to Maddox was pretty great, BTW. The pass was a little behind Kareem, so I though he'd be lucky just to coral it. But he soared up and slammed it home like a pro. And Hummer receiving a fast-break pass mid-air (from Mav) and laying it up at 100% full-speed was also a sight to see.

I sent it to jprice@princeton.edu on February 8th and never received a bounce back.

Game's back on.

I'd like to see it happen this year for sure.

But... I think I have missed something. What were the Bears' late-season back-to-back shockers in 2008-09 and 2009-10?

So is Maddox. Great finish by the Tigers. Nice to see Barrett contribute.

Nice recovery win for Princeton. After back to back horrific shooting nights against Yale and Brown, Mav and Davis find their stroke again (often hitting contested 3s to stem Big Red rallies). And we wouldn't have won without them because Cornell played well enough to deserve an upset. Score doesn't reflect the closeness of the game.

Harvard toys with Brown once again, using a huge 2nd half to win as expected. The game tomorrow in New Haven could be legit interesting, though.

Dartmouth pushing Yale to OT! I actually feel that the Bulldogs losing to the Big Green would be better for us. They're out of the race anyway and playing "angry" against a traditional rival might give them a boost.

Also, I guess the FiOS crew talked to SJ before the game and he re-iterated that the Brown loss was just fluke-y cold shooting.

And once again, the direct tv feed yielded some amusing between commercial chatter -- "It's a good thing you're having dinner with your ex-wife after this!! Anyway...so Hummer's a lefty right?"

That happens on a lot of these college basketball feeds, BC announcers were making fun of Rivard saying he shouldnt have played hockey during the commercials. You would think by now these announcers would know their mikes are never cut off

I feel like they have to know by now...right? Maybe they know and just enjoy the lack of (self)censorship.

Well, Yale's gonna escape. Here's to a Battle in New Haven tomorrow...Braswell and Morgan have been in an extended 3-pt shooting slump themselves and are due to break out.

Mmmm... Got it.
Penn basketball put me in a cloud last year. They lost so many times that I was never shocked when it happened, even when it was to the Bears at the Palestra.

BTW, your Tigers are just gonna win out and go to the Dance, right?!?!?
