If anyone was wondering what Cornell would look like without Shonn Miller, it was on display last night and it wasn't pretty. BRF says he's done for the season with a shoulder injury. No disrespect meant to Brown -- who took it to us the entire game -- but without Miller's presence, the Big Red could be the worst team in the league. The best part of the game for a Cornell fan was the play of Deion Giddens: 4 points (2 x 2 from the field), 5 rebounds and 3 blocks in 15 minutes. Granted the second half was like a controlled scrimmage, but he played well enough to make you wonder why we haven't seen more of him. |

Everyone in the league seems to be an injury or two from the cellar. |

True, but the production gap between Miller and the second best player on the team (whoever that is) is arguably the largest of any team in the league. Having watched this team all season, the difference with Miller and without is pretty stark. Toss in the loss of Gray and ....Yikes! (So there is no misunderstanding, Brown played very well last night. You don't run up a kenpom offensive efficiency rating of 137 by accident.) |

But it was an unsurprising progression after seeing Cornell give up consecutive 122s in their two prior games. As I said on the Brown board, the Red D is in free fall. |

Will Miller and Gray be back for their game vs us (Dartmouth)? |

Cornell destroyed us a few weeks back... So even if Miller and Gray are still out for the game vs Dartmouth, it is hard to imagine the Green overcoming Red... |
