Great road win by Yale. They controlled the entire game and out rebounded Washington 42 to 29. Shot the ball very well. Amazing win without Makai Mason. Jones can flat out coach!! Very good win for the Ivy League. Ivies need to start beating top 100 teams with more regularity. |

Bruner also did not play. Yale looked good. Downey was a monster. |

Didn't see the game, and the box score is, well, confounding, to wit: - Wash shot 58.9% - Wash blocked 15 shots, Yale none - Yale 21 offensive RBs, Wash 4 Any help? |

It would appear that the rumors of Yale's demise are false. The team and the coach did an impressive job tonight. Any news on Bruner? |

Announcers said Bruner was out for that game only. |

Washington turned it over aoubt 8-9x in the first half and were down by 20 at one point. Spent the entire second half trying to come back. Yale shot 44% from 3 and took 71 shots to Washingtons 56. Lots of back door layups for Yale. |

I've been hyping up Downey here and elsewhere. Glad to see he didn't make me look too stupid. |

You have been right on regarding Downey. Downey saved Yale against Baylor last Spring when Sherrod and Sears got in foul trouble early. Downey played 18 minutes, scored 8 points with 7 rebounds and held his own against Baylor's bigs. Classic Ivy League overachiever who starts getting some success as a Junior and then kicks it in as a senior. Spieth is also getting off to a good start in his senior year. Some players step up in senior year others do not. |

Seems like it's out there now - Bruner has a sprained ACL and will be out three weeks. |

3 weeks? Too bad... they will need Bruner against Virginia on Sunday. We'll see. |

Ah gotcha. I check that sometimes but not a lot as Ivy Football is hard for me to get too passionate about. :-) |

Yale wins in OT against a good Lehigh team. Who needs Makai Mason? Thank goodness for Yale's performance so far for the Ivy League reputation. Now, they only need to beat Virginia in Charlottesville. |

I was in second row for Washington game. The good news for rest of the Ives is Washington really sucks. The bad news is Oni is an absolute stud. Adding Bruner makes them co- favorites with Princeton in my mind. And that's assuming Princeton improves on their first game performance. |
