Well, now we know we can play in the first half! Probably partially due to Corey's illness but we saw a shrinking rotation as we prepare for tournament time. It will be interesting to see how that plays out over the next two weeks as we appear to be locked into the 2-3 game against Yale (which quite frankly I don't mind). Will TA go super deep against Yale and Princeton, in particular, or focus on the more tournament ready rotation? |

I would hope and anticipate that Coach Amaker gives Princeton everything the Crimson have at Jadwin whether they are still in the hunt for #1 seed or not. You would also think that he would want to place doubts in the minds of Henderson and the Tiger players as well even if mathematically eliminated, unlikely, by tip off. He seems far to competitive, to his credit, to take a different approach and I would hope that all IL teams play hard to the very end of the season especially if the game matters for the 4th seed, i.e. like MLB. It appears that Amaker played the guys who gave him the best chance to win throughout the year. |

Doubts? Didn't the game at Lavietes already do that? I expect Harvard to play 15 guys in a meaningless game at Jadwin. As I observed a month ago, Penn could benefit Saturday as well. Sorry Columbia. |

Unless Princeton is undefeated going into its last game, I'd expect Henderson to play a lot of reserves for a lot of minutes. Critical to be fresh and uninjured for the tournament. Making the rubble bounce by bombing away with a top seed already assured would be silly if the only difference were two losses versus one loss. The clean sheet would be enough of an inducement, though, to get me to play for the win. |

Towns has so much learning to do on both ends of the floor. If he can remember his assignments defensively and stop committing the cheap fouls, he could become an average defender. If he could stop dribbling into trouble and taking low percentage, on the move 2PT Js, his offensive rebounding, driving ability, mismatch in the post versus smaller guards and 3pt shooting could make him transcendent offensive talent. If we were redrafting the 2016 freshman class for four-year potential, he might be the top pick. Granted, so might AJ, Bruner, Miye, Aiken or Lewis - kind of a good class. |

The Tourney is an extension of the regular season. It's part of the season now. You don't count your score on the 14th hole of a golf match. When Princeton loses, it will be because they couldn't finish what they started and the team that goes to the NCAA will do just as well or better than they could have. |

I expect Harvard to empty the bench against Penn and Princeton that weekend. Yes, some of the reasons I opposed the tournament were precisely because of issues like these: - the final regular season weekend is now likely absolutely meaningless for at least the top 3 teams; and - a 14-0 squad may not get the NCAA bid. I say that even though I've purchased my tix for the tournament. For the first time in years, I'm likely not to attend the games at Penn and Princeton the weekend before. |

True. At this point the only traditional question would be whether Harvard could make a point at Princeton. Sort of same thing as last year's final weekend at Lavietes. |

Excactly! and the last three weeks of the season are usually meaningless for most of the teams under the old system. Right now every team, even Cornell and Dartmouth still has a pulse that gives them a path to an NCAA tourney bid. Recruits for all those teams are taking notice. It's a more exciting league right now than I can remember |

Nonsense. The tourney is not an EXTENSION of the season now. It IS the season. Let's hear how you whine when/if your queckers ever again dominate the regular Ivy race only to have to defend themselves against some foe with a middling record on that opponent's home floor to get the NCAA bid. The only thing that would silence you, if that should ever happen, would be a nice, greasy cheesesteak down the old pie hole. |

While most Crimson players followed with with a strong offensive weekend, second line center Tyler Moy didn't score on any of his 5 shots. Should switch to basketball, although still shooting a respectable 37.6% (4 for 11) over his last 4 hockey games. Since he's a center, I wonder if he can make free throws! |
