Congratulations to the Brown women for beating Cornell 67-46 to earn the #4 seed for next weekend's Tournament. The two teams ended up 7-7 on the season, but the Bears swept the season series against the Red. Brown needed to win at Columbia and Cornell to make it in and the young team was able to sweep the difficult Empire State weekend. They had three close loses to Penn, Princeton and Harvard in the last few weeks. They will be a tough matchup for any team that has to face them next week. Frankly, with the Tigers and Crimson both slumping at the end of the season here, I think I fear the Bears the most next weekend. Penn will need to have their A game offensively on Saturday.
