Well, the much-bruited outcome indeed transpired. The fourth-place Quakers get a chance to play a home game against the undefeated first-place Tigers in the first round of the new league folly. Princeton ought to come in confident after pounding Penn at the Palestra earlier this season and playing at a high level this weekend. At least they got in on a win over a good team. If they had lost to Harvard the beeping sound you would have heard would have been the pale blue garbage truck backing in to the tourney. |
