ESPN had the following team stats on the game page. TEAM PPG PA FG% RPG APG BPG SPG STRK Penn 69.0 67.9 44.5 34.5 14.5 3.6 6.6 W1 Pton 72.1 61.5 45.4 33.2 14.4 3.3 6.9 W17 Doesn't look too good. I think we need to rebound and shoot really well! |

Of course we have a "chance." We just have to play the entire game as we did during the big comeback at Princeton. And they have to play as they did during the big comeback at Princeton. As I keep saying, House Money. |

The Princeton board is already making excuses for a loss. So maybe you're right. Maybe it'll be something like this. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&am p;q=&a... |

Still get a chill from that. Just like I always did when the Palestra was full for a Penn game. |

According to the Princeton board it sounds like that '79 Quaker team would have had a cakewalk against Magic if they only held the Final Four in the Palestra. |

Wow. Goosebumps all these years later. Still remember where I was. I think this is the only hockey game I ever watched in full. |

While the court is ours, if you saw the pictures from yesterday, it doesn't look like our gym. The IL, in the spirit of fairness (idiocy?) made them take all the banners down. Looks like a house with no furniture. Just another reason to beat Princeton's and Brown's brains in! |

SD's pre-game speech should go something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdmyoMe4iHM "Great moments are born from great opportunity... And that's what you have here today boys. That's what you've earned here today. One game. If we played them ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not today." |

Looks like a house with no furniture. Just another reason to beat Princeton's and Brown's brains in! This is just one idiotic Robin Harris idea to make this a "neutral" court. I also heard that she is: 1) Not allowing it to be called the Palestra. This weekend it must be referred to as "The Ivy League Arena". 2) The Penn players must switch dorm rooms with other students so that the players can't sleep in their own beds. 3) Penn players are not allowed to walk to the game. They have to get on a bus and drive around Philadelphia for an hour before the game. 4) Noise amplifiers will be put in the other schools cheering sections to help equalize it with all the Penn fans. |

Princeton gets the home locker room. Which means they ought to see plenty of "Beat Princeton" signs in there. |

The locker rooms are assigned based on seed from what I hear. The Women and men will share the locker rooms. #1 seed (Princeton) gets the womens home locker room, #2 seed (Harvard) gets Penn mens home locker room, Penn ends up in the worst locker room in the Palestra. |

Better than the old trough at Franklin Field I guess. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around what would happen if the tournament gets rotated, Columbia hosts it and a couple of teams have to share a locker room in Dodge. |

3) Penn players are not allowed to walk to the game. They have to get on a bus and drive around Philadelphia for an hour before the game. They have to park the bus on Boathouse Row, change into their unis, and walk the rest of the way to the Palestra. |

It's sad, though, when you realize that Penn students this decade have no memories of this kind of stuff. When's the last time we had throngs of Penn students so into a game like that?

I'm seeing Penn +5. So Penn makes one more 3-pointer than expected & Princeton makes one less 3-pointer, that's a 6-point swing & a Penn victory. I'm starting to feel more confident. Matt Howard has not played well in either Princeton game this year. He will tomorrow. LET'S GO QUAKERS! HURRAH FOR THE RED AND THE BLUE! |

Tommy Amaker made some very strong g statements that the ILT should be permanently at the Palestra. About the talk concerning Penn and HCA he said "this is above all that". Believes we should showcase the best arena in the league. I couldn't agree more. |

Nice thing to say with all the negative ink about it amounting to a Penn home game. Guess I have to root for the Crimson. My niece is there so I have a family excuse. I'm hoping BHYP have enough of a turnout to make the Palestra like it was when there was a Big 5 doubleheader. I used to attend those even when Penn wasn't playing because the atmosphere was so incredible. |

The Women and men will share the locker rooms. #1 seed (Princeton) gets the womens home locker room, #2 seed (Harvard) gets Penn mens home locker room, Penn ends up in the worst locker room in the Palestra. Which means, since the Princeton men are playing right after them, that the Penn women don't get to use their own locker room. OK, now I'm really going to have to have a chat with Robin Harris.

Line is now Penn +7. 3-1 on the money line. I think that's great value as it's now out of last minute FT territory. Losing that bet means it was something of a blowout. Harvard is -2.5 now. I still like them just not as much. I question how the young ones will play under pressure. |

3 points is a pretty major line jump. Someone out there isn't thinking too well of us and it's rare the public is able to do that on their own for a smaller game like this. |

I think I hear your pain, P38. Do ... you need a loan? On another topic, I pass through Tucson a couple of times each year. There are lots of good places to eat. But, for breakfast, IMHO, there is only one: Frank's By Day, Francisco's By Night. (Yes, that is all one name). Located in a modest neighborhood, no $ wasted on decor. I always sit inside, Bot you can also sit outside beneath the sign that says, "Elegant Dining? Go Elsewhere". For the money (and atmosphere), no better breakfast anywhere. Give it a try next time you are in Tucson. Like a funny waiter once said to me after recommending a special, "You'll thank me for it!". |

This set up is crazy. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason for sections. 108 on the baseline is clearly Penn season tickets but they're next to Princeton students and then the Princeton band in 109 and 110. Penn students and band across the court. I surprisingly see a lot of Orange so I bet it's more like 60/40 penn fans. Plus, if you get team tickets in some chair-backs you get a wristband and have to switch at the next game. |
