You noted the Bruner & Downey combo excelling against the HU front court - Bruner in particular distinguished himself as the superior athlete amongst all those bigs. There was one rebound he snagged where he and Chris Lewis both left their feet at the same time to go after it, and when Bruner grabbed the ball at the apex of both their leaps, he had both elbows over Lewis's forehead by a good 6-8 inches. And that wasn't the only example of him outskying everyone nearby when he went after a board. |
