I had thought that the AD went on record saying that he didn't want to sully Assembly Hall with an NIT game. That's why they declined. I never say the quote, but that was supposedly a thing that was said. Feel like this was a segment on Mike and Mike this week (I get up early with the little ones before work, and hey, what else is on?). |
