I don't think it is debatable Bilsky painted himself into a corner when Jerome was hired. Jerome was a great recruiter, but the rest of his game was lacking. He needed really strong assistants to succeed. When they left, it all went downhill. None of this diminishes his legacy or his place in the HOF however. |
