- A great athlete who is also one of the state's top performers in track and field (high jump, hurdles, etc). For jkrun, O'Brien cleared 5-8 in the high jump in Districts and finished 2nd overall in that event in States. As I'm sure you know, the all-time Bucknell record in the HJ in 5-7, held by Amy Mantush. She also finished 3rd in states in the 300 hurdles in a very fast 43.89. Her fastest this year was 43.18. Very impressive - both at basketball and T&F. I'll keep my fingers crossed she might want to high jump during outdoor season, but don't hold out much hope. |
