http://brownbears.com/sports/m-baskbl/2017- 18/rele... Nice looking class. Lots of very athletic guards. Watching film is often misleading, but it's a little hard to see how Desmond Cambridge isn't a high major recruit, with his athleticism, ballhandling, size, shooting. Zach Hunsaker looks like a real deal playmaker. George Mawanda-Kalema looks like a pure shooter - a Hobbie with handles and ability to pass. I think we have a guard glut and not enough bigs. But I like the class.

Coach Martin seems very enthusiastic about this group based on his comments. Continued development of Fuller, emergence of Erebor, and addition of DeWitt will hopefully provide some balance in the front court. Choh iwill also add muscle and athleticism to front court. I was at a fundraising event at CCRI this spring. On one play Choh took the ball coming over mid-court. Underhanded the ball outside the top of the key key, caught it off backboard, and slammed it home with a thunderous dunk which brought the crowd to it's feet. Not a play I expect to see during the upcoming season. But it was an example of the increase in level of athlete Martin continues to add to the program. |

A little more information on the incoming class, as well as some thoughts from Coach Martin, at the Providence Journal. http://www.providencejournal.com/sports/20170601/b... |

This team is going to struggle mightily on D still, but my goodness Cambridge and Hunsaker can play. |

I too think Hunsaker is a really good player. |
