I just saw an article about Dan Mavraides who was chosen to play on Team USA 3 on 3 organized by FIBA. Marvraides presently works in Beverly Hills as a portfolio manager. Other players on the team included Damon Hoffman (Brown),Craig Moore(Northwestern) and Zahir Carrington (Lehigh). The team lost to Serbia in the quarterfinals in France last week. FIBA uses a smaller ball, 12 sec shot clock, and awards 1 point for shots inside the arc and 2 points for outside the arc. 3 on 3 will be an Olympic sport.
