Even allowing for the very large squishiness of such a number, this is a high ranking for a Columbia commit. He had a lot of offers, a good sign and typical of many of Columbia's recent recruits. He had offers from the West Coast, Mountain West, Big West, Patriot and Ivy conferences that we know of. He committed very shortly after his official visit, cancelling another planned visit. For some, NYC and the campus is a clincher. Finally, in a few years the backcourt will be very athletic and skilled with Smith, Stefanini, Bibbs and now Ellis. |
