Does anybody know if the Livestream feed is still operational this year. Campus Insiders seems to have been swallowed up by something called "Stadium TV." Just wondering if this will change how Livestream works. |

I watched portions of a women's soccer game. The feed was very choppy, but I don't know if that was an issue with Bucknell, Stadium, or my lousy internet service. |

If we have lost the ability to watch Patriot League basketball and football on our big screen TVs, I'm going to be positively fuming. |

Responding to the last two posts, that was my fear. It appears that we have lost the ability to watch on roku, despite what the PLN says on their site. That info pertains to the old Campus Insiders setup. I have been looking for the stadium app on Roku for the past month. There is no such thing there. |

Hopefully, there's just been a delay in adding Stadium to the Roku channel lineup. |

Hopefully it will happen, but i think all these entities ( Learfield, Campus Insiders et al) keep getting gobbled up by bigger entities and the PLN does not carry a lot of swat. |

Actually, as concerned as I am about not being able to watch on large screen TV, I am even more concerned by the apparent fact that there does not appear to be any archive. In the past an archive was available almost immediately after the game ended. So if you missed a game and wanted to watch later, you could. There was an LU/Villanova FB game earlier today on the PLN. Is anybody able to locate a replay of that game, let alone a replay of our game which just ended? If it exists, please let me know. |

One more observation, Stadium may be leading us in to a pay tv situation. I have always thought that getting what we used to get for free was too good to last forever, and would be willing to pay a reasonable amount for the privilege of watching the Bison whenever I wanted to. There is a box on the Stadium page asking you to sign up for emails. When you fill in your email address they say click on the link we sent to your email. Only catch, they do not send an email. Have tried twice. SNAFU |

It looks like archives are in the works, as a perk in the $4.99/month paid option: "Coming Soon: You can watch Stadium Plus programming including hundreds of exclusive games, classic events, and commercial-free Stadium TV re-airs for a monthly fee" That's under the heading of "WatchStadium.com and Stadium apps." https://watchstadium.com/where-to-watch/ |

Yes, I think that is where we are headed. Pay service is coming. I'll go $5/mo, but then I want to watch when I want and where I want, including being able to start watching a game from the beginning, before it has ended. That is I want to be able to start watching a 7pm hoops game at 8pm and see the entire game. I am concerned that so far Stadium does not seem to do what they claim. First it says there will be an app on Roku by July 31. There was not and still is not. Then on their web page they ask you to signup for email alerts. When you give them your email they say "click the link we emailed you,". Only oops, no email. |

Here is what I got from a source in the know at BU! They will have a Roku app, but the folks at Stadium do not THINK they have launched it yet. They will check (very comforting, more evidence of how on top of their game Stadium is). Once that is up you will be able to watch on Roku. Where the archives are concerned, I'm told that they are coming, but that there are some issues. Hopefully they will be up in two to three weeks. So, optimistically it is all coming. I still think $ will come into the picture somewhere, and I'm ok with a reasonable charge. That is me talking about the $. not my source. Also any sarcasm you may pick up on is also mine. Finally, if you are wondering WTF I am doing up at 4:15 in the AM posting here it is because they put me on massive doses of prednisone to reduce inflamation caused by shingles, which in turn has (temporarily I hope)caused some loss of the use of my left arm. Damn crap is keeping me awake. Hopefully when you read this, I will be sound asleep. (Now if I can only remember if I took the sleeping pill I got up to take...) |

Just did some research. It is possible to watch Stadium TV if you have a web browser enabled smart tv. Just go to the browser and search "watchstadium" and it will come up. This has nothing to do with Roku. A little further research reveals that there is a web browser app called "Web Browser X" available on Roku for $4.95/month. I presume this would allow you to access Stadium just as I did on my tv browser. As I said earlier, I am more concerned about the lack of archives than I am the large screen. There is no workaround for that one. |

A league official tells me Stadium is now available on Apple TV, and that "Roku is their next priority in terms of connected TV launches." No specific indication of when that will happen, but I was assured Stadium is "working to be up and running on Roku and other platforms as soon as possible." While I will miss seeing football games on the big screen for now, I'm glad we're still a few months from basketball season. |

Watching on computer, I found the Stadium video feed was high quality. Did others have the same impression? I'm hopeful that, after the delay, the Roku/big screen experience will be better than before. |

Video quality was high for me but I lost audio frequently coming out of commercial breaks. May have been because I had it up on the big screen through my HDMI cable but I didn't have that problem before with PLN |

I had some of that too. It would seem to go on sort of " auto mute." Also, every time there was a break, the picture mode would transfer out of full screen. Had tha same problem watching PLN via my smart tv web browser. Stadium is a merger of three or four different companies that have pooled their various broadcast rights, but seems to have a lot of right hand/ left hand stuff going on in the early going. |

Perhaps it is me, I have problems watching Bucknell games this season on the new feed. I liked the Campus Insiders in past years, that said, last night went to Wm and Mary site and it was so easy to access the game, I don't understand why our stuff isn't done like this. I was viewing the games in around 15 seconds, with several cliks on the links. |

Agree about Stadium. As many know, it is the result of a merger between Campus Insiders and American Sports Network (ASN). Seems like they managed to take the worst from each of the predecessors.

Here is a strange one: When accessing PLTV on Stadium via my Android cell phone, the video is clear but, but the audio is always VERY muffled. The other day, I tried my iPad, and the audio was nice and loud. I have checked all settings on my Galaxy S8+, but cannot find anyway to adjust for this. Any ideas?

First, make sure it is a problem w/ everything you watch on Stadium, as opposed to one specific stream. Assuming you already have determined that the audio sucks on whatever stadium event you watch, try accessing with another android phone if you can. That will tell you if the problem is just w/your phone or is perhaps a Stadium problem. Lastly, watch on your iPad, or get an iPhone. Btw Roku app appears to be one of the few things Stadium got right. |

Really impressed with the Stadium Roku App. Great picture/audio quality and zero drop-outs. So nice to have that rather than relying on my tablet.

I put this question here because it is about the optics of the half time that is seen on the broadcast. During the halftime of our most recent home games the PL Network broadcast from Sojka without sound or comment of any kid. At first Paulie's precious dance team performed. It was an all (or nearly all) white group of girls with the school name on uniforms that appear to make them look well funded and connected to the school. Then after a break they came back and showed a second group of all (or nearly all) minority students in what appears to be a separate group doing a dance routine in what looks like homemade/less school connected uniforms. I am certain there is some sort of explaination of these groups in the arena prior to their performance, but without comment on the broadcast the optics of the two groups appears on the surface to be very racist. Any comments? My guess without being their is the separation is dance style, but it just doesn't look good the way it is broadcast.

The second group is the Bisonettes. I don't think there's any animosity between the two groups. Just different dance styles as you mentioned. https://my.bucknell.edu/apps/mybucknell/#/x/h ttps:... |

And the second group appears to be more into the game itself, tend to hang out all game long. Bison girls seem there only to perform and then some leave, some mill around. |

Although i noticed a change last game. The Bison girls all stayed and sat on the baseline next to the cheerleaders in the 2nd half. The Bisonettes also went into the student section to help get them loud. |
