Doesn't count as an actual one of the 27 because it's lumped into the Gulf Coast Showcase MTE. Now, if there isn't something that mandates you play a non-D1 school as part of it, technically, Penn could have scheduled any other participant in the showcase and played them as a free game instead of Brandywine.
