Desmond Cambridge had a great game with 33 point on 11-21 shooting and 7-12 on 3's along with 5 rebounds. He was unconscious at times and very much in rhythm. Howard had 13 pts, 5 rebs, and 5 assists and a big 3 pt shot in second half. Starters were Anderson, Cambridge, Hunsaker, Howard, and DeWolf. Anderson (13) and Hunsaker (12) also in double figures. Great efforts off the bench for Okolie (6-5-3) and Massey (7-4-3). Bears had 21 assists on 33 FGs while shooting 49% overall. Players settling into their roles as rotations develop. Fuller was showing good signs of his development early in the year but now is 9th or 10th man. Team only had 7 TOS. I can't imagine how long it has been since Brown had under 10 TOs in a game. Good chemistry. Looked great coming off a 10 day break for exams. Off for a week now and will prepare for a big challenge at Northeastern next Saturday. More time to work on their game and get ready for what may be a very exciting Ivy season. |

Fun team to watch. 7 TOs to 15 for Marist, 21 Assets for B to 5 for M. 4 players in double figures for the Bears. Marist has 2 quality guards, Brown took everybody else out. If we can play D like this we will be very competitive in the IL. The only sad part of the day is the loss of Taylor Will for the Women for the season. She is a great player and our best defender. |
