To be asked tonight at session with Coach Engles: when is Castlin going to start? How does he see his best starting five and how deep a rotation does he anticipate? What can we expect from each of the leading first years? Is this the year when Meisner reaches his potential? How can he protect Smith when we play teams with taller guards? Why has Hickman regressed? We seem to be using a full court press more often; is this something we can expect to see more often? Why have we had so many second half collapses? Is this a rebuilding year or do we have the horses led by Smith, Meisner and Castlin to make the tournament? How is recruiting going? |

Great list of questions, Doc. I'd add a few ... What is the injury situation? Is Killingsworth expected back? Does Engles expect any help on the front line - will Eberle to be able to contribute/can Brumant step up? And a big one: does CU really have the shooters this year to continue emphasizing the trey so heavily? |

Good questions Chet. Are you planning to attend? I can't make it, so you have my proxy. Regarding your suggested question, "how is recruiting going?" I assume you mean overall, and not just this year, but you might want to clarify the question. We have only two known incoming players. Both of them are excellent prospects, but a two man class is absurd on its face. I know we only have two graduating seniors, but most college coaches do not ordinarily consider the number of players graduating as a limitation on the size of the incoming class. Most coaches consider the possibility of attrition, normal and unexpected. Also, it goes without saying that college coaches are looking constantly for better players |

Not for nothing, but I'd be stunned if the coach gave a fully candid answer to any of those questions. |

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend. Hopefully somebody on this board will exercise my proxy. |

How about: Hickman's offensive rating has significantly regressed over the last 12 months, why do you still play him so much? |

As far as Killingsworth, he was helping the team during warm-ups at both the Maine and SL games. Not sure what his status might be for next year, but he is a nice complementary and heady player. |

"Coach, your player stinks and you're a fool to play him so much. Care to comment?" |

yeah more or less. I get that it's harsh/negative, but the coaching decisions are totally baffling to us as fans, defies both what we see in stats and on the court. Engles has had a decent runway and not much to show for it. If we don't significantly improve next year we have a serious problem. |

Wait, that’s *not* how you’re supposed to ask questions? |

It is basically incomprehensible to me that Hickman is starting and Castlin is not. Need I count the ways? |
