Matt must not like the Palestra. His ORat last night was his season's low and his lowest since his last trip to West Philly. Which is the lowest of his career, save for goose egg he had at Pitt his freshman year. 3 of his 8 lowest ORats have been at the Palestra. The Quakers played a roll in that, obviously, but Matt's numbers against Penn at Newman have been fine. 16 turnovers. Some of that was the Penn D, but I thought it was more Penn alertly taking advantage of Cornell sloppiness. And no one could shoot other than Stone. Penn's foul shooting and struggles on the offensive glass (until a late possession that seemed to never end) gave the guys a chance to steal one, but Penn always had an answer when it got tight. It's now 10 losses in a row to Penn. Harumpf. |
