Lions up 71-71 with 3:29 to go.

Cambridge went up to block a Meisner layup with just over 6 minutes to go and landed hard on his ankle. A teammate helped him to the bench and he has not been back.

The ILN cameras did not show him after the initial landing, but Scott and Russ thought it looked pretty bad. No update on the broadcast.

Brown wins in OT 91-88.

Anderson hit a three with about 15 seconds left in regulation that was called a two. Smith hit a three with 6 seconds left to force OT.

Late in OT, Anderson went to the line with 13 seconds left down 3. He hit the 1st, but missed the second. Choh got the board and dished it to Okolie for the go ahead 3 with 9 seconds left. Smith missed the driving layup and Okolie got the rebound with 2 seconds left. He hit both to close out the win.

Cambridge did not return. Have to keep an eye on his status for next weekend.

He was walking around but with a pronounced limp. The fact that he was on his feet suggested it was closer to day to day than out for a while. Really hope he’s ok. Reality is though that this team can win without him, as they showed tonight.

Sometimes you’re just glad you got the win. This one had so many moments in it - exhilarating and excruciating - that it’s hard to characterize one way or another. What is great is they found a way to win. This one was Choh’s win. He scored many key buckets down the stretch, and his huge rebound off of Anderson’s FT miss was both huge and pretty amazing.

Brown probably got screwed by Anderson’s big shot at the end of regulation being called a 2 instead of a 3. The officials seemed to sense that, but just couldn’t get a replay angle. I was chucking listening to Cordischi and then Tyler argue that it was clearly a 3. It probably was and Brown was lucky to get the win back.

This was a game of big gutty plays by players on both sides. After the bad turnover at the end of regulation, Anderson makes the huge layup and then the huge 2/3. Big time. Okolie’s 3 to win it. Big time. Hunsaker’s 3 at the start of OT. Smith, Adlesh, Stefanini made dynamite huge shots down the stretch for Columbia. Stefanini in particular made some really impressive and tough shots.

Once again that press / trap got Brown in trouble. Anderson and Hunsaker had atrocious TOs in the face of backcourt length and pressure in OT. Just too tentative when passing. They have to get that squared, because now it’s in everybody’s playbook against them.

Mixed game overall, but to see a huge play win it is great for this team - especially doing it without Cambridge who was really strong on everything except the threes. After he went out guys stopped watching what was going to happen and made things happen. Great to win this and salvage the weekend.

Choh really stepped up after Cambridge left the game. He hit three lay-ups, two of which were strong left handed lay-ups in traffic. Hit one FT and made made the key rebound of Anderson's missed FT and was able to get the ball to on open Okolie for the winning three. He also had a great left handed block late in the game.

Anderson had a tough game with 5 TOs and also had an off shooting night from the field and the line. It was good to see him hit what seemed like the winning three in regulation. He still had the confidence to hit a big shot when it mattered most.

Choh has shown he makes plays. Really something. Don’t forget the drive and leave for Massey late, which led to the easiest 2 Brown had down the stretch. He drives to the hoop and makes things happen. There are times when he goes a while and you don’t hear his name, and you can forget he’s there. And other times he takes charge and saves the game.

Brown seemed to be trying to get the ball to someone at the foul line to penetrate the D. Speith used to handle that spot fairly well. Okie actually got 5 assists. Some were no doubt from that position. But I think the best man to man the middle is Choh. He has shown the ability to pass. He can drive both right and left. And he has a decent shot. The Bears need an inside-outside game to make the D move and hopefully create more openings. As mentioned by others, the guards struggle against defense with three outside on D. Slip the ball in to Choh and one of the two inside have to commit, leaving him options to drop a pass down low, drive if the man approaches too quickly, or pass it out to a wing for a jump shot.

Brown out rebounded both C's and had fewer TO's. Both C's shot well for the floor and from 3, defense needs to step up, though they did make some need stops down the end. The Cambridge show continued, 23 pts. on Sat. (though 0-7 from 3). He missed the last 11 minutes of the game, but Obi, Choh, Anderson and Hunsaker stood up. Anderson's shot at the end was clearly a 3, there are pictures, the game should not have gone to OT. Let's hope Cambridge can go at full speed next weekend.

It sure seemed like it should have been a 3. That could have been the game if Brown doesn't steal it at the end of OT. Still that shot by Smith with 6 seconds left in regulation was so clutch, in a game filled with clutch shots.

Columbia failing to rebound a missed FT that turned into an Okolie 3 was a pretty big play.

I don't remember seeing a 360 degree dunk in an Ivy game. Anyone?
