Interesting that the article states that Jelani is redshirting. I hope that is accurate. |

The accuracy of the article is in serious doubt if the author thinks Penn will be the preseason #1. Obviously Jelani has 4 years of eligibility so if he stays, he is redshirting, if he graduates in 3 years he will be transferring. I don't think anyone knows that right now. I don't think Jelani has committed to that but would be smart to keep his options open. He likely is on track to graduate in 4 years and can adjust as he gets closer to stretch it to a 5th year or graduate and transfer. |

Hopefully Jelani is as great as we think he can be (heard good things from Italy play) and he has some big time options in that possible fifth year (if the stupid grad transfer rule still exists). Just looking forward to seeing him on court next year and the year after and the year after |
