The starting line up has been posted. It includes Tape: let's hope that for once, the announcement reflects who really starts.

We are supposed to beat Youngstown by 10 (KP 331), lose to FIU by 1 (KP 228), and lose to Fordham by 3 (KP 244). It's going to be hard to play games on three successive days. But we can take 2 of the three, it would certainly improve the outlook for the rest of the season.

Patrick suffered a practice injury after the lineup for for the Marist game became public knowledge. Irrespective of who starts, and with three full games to be completed in forty-six hours real time, I would imagine that Brumant, Nweke, Killingsworth and Barba will get their opportunities to shine. I'm more than hopeful that the team gets through the entire weekend unscathed by further injury to Tapé or anyone else, and quite optimistic that CU will put forth a representative showing in all three games.

Two out of three seems reasonable for the Lions, especially if they can play some solid defense.

If they are playing FIU on a neutral court and KP has Columbia at #215, I wonder why FIU is listed as having a semi-home game and being the 1 point favorite?

It's a shame that only Sunday's game will have video. At least Lance Medow's audio will be available for the first two games.

BTW, Ike Nweke was named Ivy Rookie of the Week.

Agree with you about the lack of video coverage. That's ridiculous. I can't imagine why and how that happened. The Fordham Classic is a very good idea, but someone at Fordham seems to have blown the coverage.

Guys, the event is actually called The Johnny Bach Classic, to memorialize the longtime Fordham coach; and it's the first year of the tournament. I'm sure improvements will be seen as in order and shall be addressed. For now, I'm pleased that there's an attempt to restore the Columbia- Fordham sports rivalry. Also, I think it's great that the Columbia kids will play 3 games on as historically relevant a facility as Rose Hill Gym, and that they'll get to sleep in their own beds between games!
