So proud of the guys' effort -- they were the better team today but Yale-friendly refs put Stephens in foul trouble early. Then they had the gall to turn a Oni pushoff into Myles' 5th. That changed the game completely and handed Yale the win on a rusty silver platter. This is definitely a tainted win for the Bulldogs. They were done for until that 5th foul -- pretty disgusting display by the refs. 5pt lead into a 6pt loss just like that. That said, I'd be lying if I said we had a better chance of pulling a NCAA upset. I just wish officials had let the players decide the game instead of determining the winner beforehand. |
