Yale cannot handle the Tigers' physicality and athleticism. Copeland had a nice cut to the hoop but the size of the interior defenders thwarted what would have been an easy basket in Ivy play. |

Yale had the majority of the good looks at the basket in this game--anything near their usual three-point shooting and they would have won comfortably. The initial problems adjusting to LSU's athletic ability also cost them. I have to agree that the old Sears/Sherrod/Downey types would have done a better job of standing up to LSU physically. |
