Two recent tweets from Seth Towns. Whether basketball related or not I don’t know, but it doesn’t sound good no matter what it is (other than Seth’s typical positive spin on things —which we’ve seen before). Hope it’s just Seth being introspective. Tweet 1 Sometimes your plans for yourself don’t align with God’s plans for you. It can be the hardest thing in the world to stomach but what matters more than any aspiration you may have is being a good person and loving the people you’ve been privileged to call your friends and family. Tweet 2 Discovering your purpose is a process that transpires throughout the course of your entire life. It can at times become hazy—especially when the cards aren’t dealt in your favor. But one thing that can persist through it all is the love you radiate. |

No reference to Seth Towns at all (could be the fault of the interviewer), but Jon Rothstein just posted the following: Harvard's Seth Towns (knee) has been cleared for non-contact work, per Tommy Amaker. No timetable for when he'll be fully cleared. Potential Ivy League POY missed all of last season. |

Sounds like it's a knee injury.

That was my guess having seen the injury occur. But I know we have debated the reasons for not discussing it in greater detail during the season, I cannot ever remember a major athlete, college or pro, being out for a year without any explanation of the injury. |
