The women's team posted its schedule a few weeks ago, but it seems there was a recent change. Last year, the MBB schedule was posted (relatively late in the season) on 8/22. Today is 8/26 and no schedule has been posted--or teased. Anyone know what the holdup is? Is there a game they're still looking to schedule? |

Probably arguing whether to play them the first two weeks of January like last year before no fans or play one of the games on a Tuesday during the season like the old days. |

Yeah, and the year before we won both. But it's ridiculous to play them back to back Saturdays when students are gone. Having the students there is what made the rivalry so great. |

I agree. The P-P rivalry is the best. |

But they really have to do something to allow P-P to resume that rivalry in season. The Ivy Tournament has forced it out of the school year....hopefully, next year, when Princeton joins the other 7 with pre-vacation finals, the Ivies can move the entire round robin up so that there is an open week before the tournament in which at least one of each rivalry series game can be played. One observation---Havard and Yale have prevented the Ivies from joining the FCS championship tournament because of its effect on "The Game." I guess that consideration was irrelevant for the P-P series in basketball. |

The 2019-20 Princeton Men's Basketball Schedule has been posted: 11/05 @ Duquesne 11/09 @ San Francisco (at Chase Center) 11/13 Lafayette 11/20 @ Indiana 11/26 Arizona State 11/30 @ Bucknell 12/04 @ Drexel 12/10 Monmouth 12/14 @ Fairleigh Dickinson 12/17 Iona (at Barclays Center) 12/20 Hofstra 12/29 Lehigh 01/04 @ Penn 01/11 Penn 01/31 Dartmouth 02/01 Harvard 02/07 @ Cornell 02/08 @ Columbia 02/14 Yale 02/15 Brown 02/21 @ Harvard 02/22 @ Dartmouth 02/28 @ Brown 02/29 @ Yale 03/06 Columbia 03/07 Cornell Solid schedule. Two Power teams in Indiana and Arizona State, two quality mid-majors in Duquesne and USF, and some other decent mid-majors in Iona, Bucknell, and Monmouth. Probably a D3 game will be added for late January. |

The San Francisco game is the same day as the FB game at Yankee Stadium, FWIW. |

T-Rank Preseason Rankings for OOC opponents (Princeton is #97): Duquesne - 103 San Francisco - 100 Indiana - 56 Arizona State - 57 Bucknell - 204 Drexel - 275 Monmouth - 188 FDU - 262 Iona - 179 Hofstra - 306 Lehigh - 277 Looks like a decent but not too challenging schedule. The stretch from Bucknell to Lehigh are all projected as wins, and Indiana and ASU are not quite as good as some of the better out of conference teams Princeton has played in the past (Duke, St. John's, Butler, Miami, etc). Still good teams certainly but the odds won't be as great as they were in those games |

Do we know if Indiana is a home and home, or a guarantee game? |

No league double headers with women. Non-league with Lehigh and Monmouth. This should be a great year to see Alarie and Company. Brutal stretch for men from 2/14 to 2/29. This team appears particularly vulnerable if key players get hurt. Just like last year. |

Princeton women are ranked #44 with Penn at #57 and Harvard at #90. Tigers will be on the road for two ranked teams - Iowa #7 and Missouri #30. Courtney's UNC squad is ranked at #38. In most WNBA mock draft, Bella is first round - top 12 players and in several mock drafts, she is projected as high as #5 or #6. It will be interesting if Princeton and Penn can step up big time Both teams without major injuries might well make the NCAAW Tournament. It will be interesting how IL teams attempt to defend Bella. |

I believe the poll you reference was end of 2018-19 season ... would expect the Tigers to open higher than 44 https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-w omen/d1/... |
