On the plus side the offense showed up today, and actually played pretty well, other than the turnovers that all led to Tiger scores.

But the defense, well there is no defense. It felt like the average Tiger drive consisted of 2 or 3 plays and covered 75 yards.

Unfortunately the other FB team I pull for is the NY Jets. It would appear that both of my teams may not win a game this season. Hurry Nov 5.

So far we have been outscored by an avg of 47-14. The Princeton QB threw for 400 yards and 7 TDs with a completion pct of almost 80%. The Tigers also ran for over 6 yards per carry.

My neighbor who went to Susquehanna made a snide, sarcastic comment this week that maybe we should drop down to Division III. Then he asked, When does basketball start?

Ouch.

Bloomsburg is now in the crapper too. Tough times for Central PA college football.

Astonishing amount of separation between the receiver and defender on some of those touchdown passes.

Say what you will about Joe Susan, but his teams weren't typically giving up 47 ppg.

You're not wrong but I don't think Joe's teams ever had a non conference schedule like this so it might be a little premature to judge. We have been outmatched at virtually every position which is to be expected going up against this competition (except Sacred Heart). Coming off a 1-10 season with a new coach is always going to be a struggle and I have no reason to believe we'd be giving up less points if Joe were still on the sideline.

Let's see what we do against the dreadful Patriot League. Our offense/defense might look completely different going head to head with comparable competition

Here is one thing we do know: A really dreadful team is going to win the Patriot League this year. 6-5 could get it done.

Essentially, this IS Joe Susan’s team. Joe knew when to bow out.
