Best summary of this game I can give: Yale went scoreless over the last five minutes of the first half and still went into the locker room up double digits.

Albany is very bad but Yale looked engaged on both offense and defense. Solid shooting performances from Cotton and Mahoney are encouraging signs too.

In less happy news, EJ Jarvis got his first start of his career and got a knee to the back of the head three minutes in. He didn't return to the game; presumably he's in the concussion protocol. Hopefully he's alright.

I'm hopeful that this represents Yale rounding into form, especially with a big game coming up against Iona this Sunday in Brooklyn.
