Based only on the box score and the scanty press reports, it looks like we played our best first half and our worst second half of the year, leading 45-33 at the half and losing 84-69 after being doubled up in the second half. Anybody with more insights? |

PS, Nweke apparently went off for 22, a career high. |

Beats me what happened, great first half followed by a horrible second. half. Only the Shadow (Engles) knows what happened and he does not need to say because he is still on his five year honeymoon with Bollinger, Pilling and a Columbia Administration which apparently could not care less about his won-lost record at Columbia. |

Good first half, followed by second half collapse. But looking at the box score, does anyone know, why neither Odunowo or Robelo did not play? |

Per Spec: "the Lions, who initially entered the game as 15.5-point underdogs.." "De La Rosa committed 5 turnovers in the second half.." It can be theorized that the coach is responsible for the collapse in the second half but not the poor performance by individuals, otherwise known as execution.

Princeton made half time adjustments. We obviously did not or could not counter. |

The shooting evened out by the end of the game (both teams shot 47%), and rebounding was roughly equal (38 for Pr and 34 for CU), but we turned the ball over 10 times more (18 for CU and 8 for Pr), which led to Pr getting 17 points off of our TOs whereas we only got 2 off of Pr TOs. That was the "adjustment." |

I wasn’t there but am curious as to whether Engles called any time outs during the second half when Princeton started the two runs. I don’t think we can conclude that we lost just because Princeton got hot and we turned over the ball. Whatever Princeton did in the second half Penn will try to emulate this evening. |
